Rebooting the blog after a hiatus of several years. Maybe blogging is just not for me? Or it needs to be more seamless. I have managed to keep a journal on my phone for a couple of years now, ever since the journal app was introduced on iOS. It was just easy to do. With a blogging system it’s more complex. However, I’ll try again. Still using hugo to publish it, but a slightly customised version thanks to Claude code which makes it easier to publish new articles.I’ve been here again. Current status: between jobs, and enjoying a holiday in the South of France. Playing around with my new laptop and my Claude code subscription. Finally tackling my NaNoGenMo project again, though not really as part of NaNoGenMo anymore.

Also, more things to talk about. Got myself a motorbike, after my scooter was trashed two years ago when a small van reversed over my front wheel. Did some great trips already. And I’m thinking of following one branch of my roots and trying out some historical re-enactment. And I’m still sailing.

So much for now, and I hope you won’t have to wait another four years until the next update…
